1 Kronieken 20:1

SV	Het geschiedde nu ten tijde van de wederkomst des jaars, ten tijde als de koningen uittrokken, zo voerde Joab de heirkracht, en hij verdierf het land der kinderen Ammons; en hij kwam, en belegerde Rabba; maar David bleef te Jeruzalem. En Joab sloeg Rabba, en verwoestte ze.
WLC	וַיְהִ֡י לְעֵת֩ תְּשׁוּבַ֨ת הַשָּׁנָ֜ה לְעֵ֣ת ׀ צֵ֣את הַמְּלָכִ֗ים וַיִּנְהַ֣ג יֹואָב֩ אֶת־חֵ֨יל הַצָּבָ֜א וַיַּשְׁחֵ֣ת ׀ אֶת־אֶ֣רֶץ בְּנֵֽי־עַמֹּ֗ון וַיָּבֹא֙ וַיָּ֣צַר אֶת־רַבָּ֔ה וְדָוִ֖יד יֹשֵׁ֣ב בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם וַיַּ֥ךְ יֹואָ֛ב אֶת־רַבָּ֖ה וַיֶּֽהֶרְסֶֽהָ׃
Trans.	wayəhî lə‘ēṯ təšûḇaṯ haššānâ lə‘ēṯ ṣē’ṯ hamməlāḵîm wayyinəhaḡ ywō’āḇ ’eṯ-ḥêl haṣṣāḇā’ wayyašəḥēṯ ’eṯ-’ereṣ bənê-‘ammwōn wayyāḇō’ wayyāṣar ’eṯ-rabâ wəḏāwîḏ yōšēḇ bîrûšālāim wayyaḵə ywō’āḇ ’eṯ-rabâ wayyeherəsehā:

AC	א ויהי לעת תשובת השנה לעת צאת המלכים וינהג יואב את חיל הצבא וישחת את ארץ בני עמון ויבא ויצר את רבה ודויד ישב בירושלם ויך יואב את רבה ויהרסה
ASV	And it came to pass, at the time of the return of the year, at the time when kings go out [to battle], that Joab led forth the army, and wasted the country of the children of Ammon, and came and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried at Jerusalem. And Joab smote Rabbah, and overthrew it.
BE	Now in the spring, at the time when kings go out to war, Joab went out at the head of the armed forces and made waste all the land of the Ammonites and put his men in position before Rabbah, shutting it in. But David was still at Jerusalem. And Joab took Rabbah and made it waste.
Darby	And it came to pass at the time of the return of the year, at the time when kings go forth, that Joab led forth the power of the army, and laid waste the land of the children of Ammon, and came and besieged Rabbah. But David abode at Jerusalem. And Joab smote Rabbah, and overthrew it.
ELB05	Und es geschah zur Zeit der Rückkehr des Jahres, zur Zeit wann die Könige ausziehen, da führte Joab die Heeresmacht ins Feld und verheerte das Land der Kinder Ammon; und er kam und belagerte Rabba. David aber blieb in Jerusalem. Und Joab schlug Rabba und riß es nieder.
LSG	L'année suivante, au temps où les rois se mettaient en campagne, Joab, à la tête d'une forte armée, alla ravager le pays des fils d'Ammon et assiéger Rabba. Mais David resta à Jérusalem. Joab battit Rabba et la détruisit.
Sch	Und nach Verfluß eines Jahres, zur Zeit, da die Könige ausziehen, führte Joab die Kriegsmacht aus und verheerte das Land der Kinder Ammon; und er kam und belagerte Rabba, während David in Jerusalem blieb, und Joab eroberte Rabba und zerstörte es.
Web	And it came to pass, that after the year had expired, at the time that kings go out to battle, Joab led forth the power of the army, and wasted the country of the children of Ammon, and came and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried at Jerusalem. And Joab smote Rabbah, and destroyed it.
